The GEO Centre Titanic Ice Gallery

The Titanic sank off the coast of Newfoundland, grazing off an iceberg while trying to set an ocean crossing speed record.

This unfortunate event now makes the ice & icebergs off the coast of Newfoundland an interesting topic.

George Quigley of Quigley Design Associates asked AtlantexCreativeWorks to custom fabricate and install 3 large display cases with scale models of Icebergs and of course the Titanic.

The models within the cases were fabricated by David Albiston and Peter Bustin with direction given from Atlantex and George Q.

The displays are meant to familiarize people with icebergs, how they form and how large they really are. The low lighting in the gallery, and cool blue lighting within the cases have a chilling effect.
