Atlantex exhibits excellence throughout Canada and the United States
In late summer of 2017, we were awarded an exhibit fabrication project by Boston-based Lyons/Zaremba Inc., one of the foremost leaders in the field of exhibit planning and design for Aquariums. The project involved the fabrication and installation of exhibits for the Great River Road Interpretive Center in Genoa, Wisconsin. Located along the Mississippi River, the interpretive center is part of the US Fish and Wildlife Service's National Fish Hatchery.
Atlantex was responsible for the production design and fabrication of a series 10' high display cases, aquarium surrounds and several dioramas. We also produced all the wall and railing mounted interpretive panels, digitally printed wallpaper murals, AV presentations, artifact mounts as well as exhibit and directional signage within the building.
As part of our work, we conducted a preliminary site visit to confirm all measurements and identify any issues related to the exhibit fabrication and installation. Atlantex also oversaw the packing, crating and shipping of the exhibits to Wisconsin, including all of the cross-border documentation required. This included the shipping of animal furs and a stacked wood sculpture.
To assist with the installation Atlantex contracted, Milwaukee based, All-American Craftworks to provide on-site installation labour.
Both Lyons/Zaremba and US Fish and Wildlife Services were so happy with our work that asked us to fabricate additional exhibit items for the interpretive center, including a 3-section display case.
The main exhibit was installed by mid-December 2017 and the extras exhibit items were installed by the end of May, 2018
