The final portion of the Shubenacadie Canal to be finished, the Dartmouth Marine Railway runs through the heart of Dartmouth and connects to the Shubenacadie Canal lock system. In 2018, Atlantex provided interpretive panels and signage for the replica flume house and cradle which sits on the former location of the famous Starr Manufacturing Company. Atlantex also fashioned a large scale replica gear system that sits inside the flume house.
